EDA is a "just-needed" production tool in the field of electronic design, and it is also the top "laurel" in the semiconductor industry. At present, the development level of the Chinese and foreign EDA industry still has a huge "gap", which has also formed certain constraints on the overall upward breakthrough of my country's semiconductor industry. We believe that the future development of the local EDA industry is imperative. In this article, we focus on the technical nature and application scenarios of EDA, analyze the development history and future trends of the global EDA industry, and discuss the future development and break-through of my country's local EDA manufacturers.
