The BDLEMI filter is compared with the conventional two-line and through-type EMI filters. The structure and electrical principles of various filters are shown in the figure.
1. The shortcomings of the two-wire EMI filter are as follows:

2. The shortcomings of the through-type EMI filter are as follows:
(1) Only single-ended filtering.
(2) Since it is connected in series to the circuit, current limitation needs to be considered.
3. Advantages of BDLEMI filter
(1) Excellent performance in suppressing mutual crosstalk between noises
(2) Since BDL is filtered in parallel, it is not limited by current.
