The LAUNCHXL-F28379D LaunchPad is designed as a complete low-cost development board for the Texas Instruments Delfino F2837xD devices. It features all the hardware and software necessary to develop applications based on the F2837xD microcontrollers. The LaunchPad is based on the superset F28379D device, allowing users to easily migrate to lower feature set and/or lower pincount F2837x devices once the design needs are known. It offers an on-board JTAG debug tool for easy programming, debugging, and evaluation, as well as a USB interface for a UART serial connection from the F28379D device to the host PC. The LaunchPad also includes features such as USB debugging and programming interface, two user LEDs, device reset pushbutton, quadrature encoder interfaces, CAN Interface, boot selection switches, differential amplifier for providing buffered signals to ADC, optional SMA connection points, and Sigma Delta demodulator inputs.

The LAUNCHXL-F28379D LaunchPad offers a USB debugging and programming interface via a high-speed galvanically isolated XDS100v2 debug probe featuring a USB/UART connection.
