Description

The HD3SS3212 is ahigh-speed bidirectional passive switch in mux or demux configurations suitedfor USB Type-cTM application supporting USB 3.1Gen 1 and Gen 2 data rates. Based on contro1 pinSEL, the device provides switching on differentia1channe1s between Port B or Port C to Port A.

The HD3SS3212 is a generic analog differentia1passive switch that can work for any highspeedinterface app1ications requiring a common modevo1tage range of 0 to 2 v and differential signalingwith differential amplitude up to 1800 mVpp. Itemp1oys adaptive tracking that ensures the channe1remains unchanged for the entire common modevoltage range.

Excel1ent dynamic characteristics of the device a11owhigh-speed switching with minimum attenuation to thesignal eye diagram with very 1ittle added jitter. It consumes <2 mw of power when operationa1 andhas a shutdown mode exercisab1e by OEn pinresulting <20 u w.
