    The CA3262AQ is a monolithic FM IF system consisting of a limiter amplifier, a quadrature detector, a phased locked loop (PLL), a stereo multiplex decoder, and a variable gain output amplifier. It is commonly used in FM radio receivers and audio systems to provide high-quality reception and decoding of stereo signals.The limiter amplifier receives the FM signal and limits its amplitude to improve signal-to-noise ratio. The quadrature detector demodulates the FM signal to extract the audio information. The PLL helps to recover the carrier frequency accurately for stable and clear reception.The stereo multiplex decoder decodes the composite stereo signal into left and right channel signals for stereo playback. The variable gain output amplifier adjusts the output signal level to drive external components such as speakers or headphones.
