The purpose of the SABMB board in relation to supercapacitors is to balance multiple series stacks of up to four supercapacitors each. It is a plug-and-play PCB solution for development, prototyping, demonstration, evaluation, or production deployment. The SABMB board is suited for balancing supercapacitor stacks ranging from two in series to hundreds in series, and for supercapacitors of 0.1F to 3000F and beyond. It is energy efficient with zero average additional power dissipation, making it suitable for low loss energy harvesting and long-life battery-operated applications. The SABMB board can be connected to other SABMBXX boards to achieve balancing for the corresponding number of supercapacitors installed in a series stack.

The SABMB boards are rated for an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

Each SABMB board can balance up to four supercapacitors in a series stack. The boards can be cascaded to balance multiple series stacks of up to four supercapacitors each.
