The members of the ADM23 family that include two internal charge pump voltage converters are the ADM231L and ADM239L.

The low power shutdown mode in the ADM223, ADM230L, ADM235L, ADM236L, and ADM241L line drivers/receivers is designed to reduce power consumption to less than 5 µW, making them ideal for battery-powered systems. During shutdown, the charge pump is turned off, transmitters are disabled, and most receivers are put into a high-impedance disabled state, except for receivers R4 and R5 on the ADM223, which remain enabled. This feature allows for monitoring external activity, such as ring indicator monitoring, while the device is in a low power shutdown mode. The shutdown control input is active high on all parts except the ADM223, where it is active low. This mode is particularly useful in battery-operated systems to ensure error-free reception for noisy inputs and slow transition times.
