Founded in 1998, Holtek Semiconductor is a professional company engaging in the design, manufacture and market of the microcontroller and peripheral components. Holtek is headquartered in Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan with sales offices in Shenzhen, China, California, USA and Taipei, Taiwan which forms a global sales network. Holtek is focusing on the development of microcontroller and microcontroller peripheral devices. The products can be divided into general purpose and specialised types of microcontrollers which are designed for general purpose applications and some special applications including speech, communication, computer peripheral household appliance, medical equipment, automotive and security respectively.
