How to determine the driving capability of the signal?

Hardware design

Please tell me how to measure the driving ability of a single signal, such as A signal. Without knowing the function of this signal, whether it is the power supply voltage or the IO voltage, and the product cannot be disassembled, is there any way to measure the driving ability of the A signal (can How much current is loaded), provided that the existing products cannot be burned out!

Add an adjustable resistor, and an electronic load can be used at the higher end to measure the voltage of the signal pin or the load end when pumping different loading currents. Generally speaking, when the current drawn exceeds the drive capacity of the IO port, the output voltage will drop.

If it is the IO voltage, you can try this method, but if it is the power supply voltage?

The principle of power supply testing is also the same, at most, the load resistance will be relatively small, and heat will be very serious. I used a sliding rheostat to test the DCDC's load capacity. The heat is more serious. If there is an electronic load, it is best to use an electronic load.

If possible, it is better to use an electronic load, and the potentiometer still has certain risks.
