How to analyze the signal conditioning circuit of HEIDENHAIN encoder?

The picture shows the HEIDENHAIN encoder output signal conditioning circuit. Z+ and Z- are differential signals. The function of the circuit is to adjust the triangle wave signal into a square wave signal through a comparator, but I don't know the principle too much, I hope you can give some advice.

The square wave has the same area as the triangle wave, and the width is half of the triangle wave.
