Voltage problem of open circuit.

Hardware design

As shown:

I measured Vout to be 5V, and V4 was deliberately disconnected, so it is an open circuit, but why is Vout not 8.2V?

Why do you think Vout is 8.2V, because V3=8.2v, and the circuit is open?

As a reminder, Vout is measured on the ground.

Current does not flow through R1, so there is no voltage drop, so Vout to ground is V1's voltage of 5V.

The measured voltage value is relative. The reference here is the ground, so the ground terminal is 0 instead of the open terminal.
