How to achieve a reliable anti-reverse connection effect for a two-cell parallel circuit?

Hardware design
July 13, 2020 by Feliciano 425

As shown in the figure, two batteries are connected in parallel. Two mos are added to prevent reverse connection. However, in actual use, it is easy to burn mos, especially when one battery is connected correctly.

Please give pointers to the reason, if it can give a reliable anti-reverse circuit is better.

The most economical and reliable solution is to prevent the reverse connection of the structure. This is the best policy. One Schottky diode in each string is simpler and has lower efficiency. The efficiency of the string mos tube is high. Pay attention to the selection of materials. The diodes cannot be used.

In the circuit above, any battery is reversed, and the MOS tube is burned immediately, paying attention to the role of parasitic diodes. This kind of circuit cannot be used for battery parallel connection, only diode or double MOS tube circuit.

SD can't be reversed. What will happen if the voltage of the reverse battery and the voltage of the positive battery are sufficiently different? Draw and analyze yourself.
