Renesas officially announced its membership in the Global Semiconductor Alliance.

Tokyo local time September 24, Renesas Electronics Corporation (Renesas Electronics Corporation) officially announced its membership in the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA).

Renesas Electronics CEO Shibata Yingli said: "It is a great honor for Renesas to join the Global Semiconductor Alliance this time. As a GSA member, Renesas will actively cooperate with partners and industry colleagues in more in-depth cooperation to accelerate technological progress and promote semiconductors. Industry development."

GSA is a unique semiconductor technology neutral platform built to promote industry collaboration. After joining GSA, on this platform, global semiconductor industry executives can interact and innovate with colleagues, partners and customers in the industry to accelerate industry development and maximize the return on investment and the value of intellectual capital.

As early as June this year, Renesas Electronics Group announced the further integration of channel partners in China, Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific region to adjust the company's market strategy. As a result, Renesas Electronics will terminate its distribution relationship with WPI Group (World Peace Group, General Assembly Holdings) and reach a strategic cooperation with WT Microelectronics.
