The UC1845J is a highly versatile control integrated circuit designed to facilitate off-line or DC-to-DC fixed-frequency current-mode control schemes with minimal external components. It boasts an array of internally implemented circuits, including undervoltage lockout (UVLO) with a start-up current of less than 1 mA, and a precision reference trimmed for accuracy at the error amplifier input. Additionally, it features logic for latched operation, a pulse-width modulation (PWM) comparator with current-limit control, and a totem-pole output stage engineered to source or sink high-peak current. The UC1845J is also compatible with N-channel MOSFETs and ensures a low off-state output. This family of products presents various package and temperature range options, offering a choice of maximum duty cycle, turnon and turnoff thresholds, and hysteresis ranges. With options suited for off-line power supplies and DC-DC applications, the UC1845J devices are specified for operation from –55°C to 125°C. For more moderate temperature requirements, the UC284x series is specified for operation from –40°C to 85°C, while the UC384x series is specified for operation from 0°C to 70°C
