The TL7702A, TL7705A, TL7709A, TL7712A, and TL7715A supply-voltage supervisors are designed specifically for use as reset controllers in microcomputer and microprocessor systems. They monitor the supply voltage for undervoltage conditions at the SENSE input and provide reset outputs that become active during power up when VCC reaches a value close to 3.6 V. These supervisors also have a delay timer function that activates a time delay after power up, during which the reset outputs go inactive. In case of an undervoltage condition during normal operation, the reset outputs become active to ensure proper functioning of the system. The TL7702A, TL7705A, TL7709A, TL7712A, and TL7715A supply-voltage supervisors have a wide supply-voltage range from 3.5 V to 18 V and specific input voltage requirements for proper operation. They also feature high-level and low-level output currents for the reset outputs, along with operating temperature ranges for different models within the family. In addition, these supervisors offer features such as power-on reset generation, automatic reset generation after a voltage drop, precision voltage sensing, temperature-compensated voltage reference, true and complement reset outputs, and externally adjustable pulse duration.
