The TVS is blown out and the output voltage is normal.

Hardware design

Please tell me, my product DC DC step-down output is 12V, the output terminal 12V is connected to a TVS, the reverse destruction voltage of the TVS is 19V, the customer returned 2 finished products, disassembled to see that the TVS burned out, The 12V output of the product is still normal after the TVS is welded. What may cause it? External inductive load? Still misconnected, or something.

The conclusion of the test I have had before is: when the output voltage is too high, the protection TVS will be broken down and a path will occur, indicating that there is no damage.

Inductive load will generate reverse electromotive force, which may burn the TVS

How can I add a solution if so?

The current is too large and the design is unreasonable.
